Summer Musical Theatre Camp

Grades 5 – 8 

(Students must be entering grades 5–8 in the fall of 2026)​

TYA JR. is designed to encourage the development of theatre performance skills, including solo & ensemble acting, singing, and movement.  This program provides students with the opportunity to hone their skills alongside peers passionate about the performing arts. Director: Maurya Brown, a Trumbull resident, will return to TYA Junior this summer to direct this exciting musical theater camp, which culminates in live performances on August 7th & 8th.

   

Trumbull Residents - $480 (non-residents $550). Space is limited to 50 students.

Non-refundable unless canceled. 10% discount for Siblings

 

Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat, and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR., a fantastical musical extravaganza from Tony-winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty.

 

Rehearsals begin July 6, 2026, Mon. - Fri., from 1 PM - 5 PM, at the Trumbull High School Auditorium. 

72 Strobel Rd., Trumbull, CT 06611. Location subject to change. Additional dress rehearsals may be added.
