TYA JR. is designed to encourage the development of theatre performance skills including solo & ensemble acting, singing and movement.  This program provides the opportunity for students to hone their skills among peers with the same passion for the performing arts. Director: Maurya Brown, a Trumbull resident, will be returning to TYA Junior this summer to direct this exciting musical theater camp 

that culminates in live performances on August 9th & 10th.

   

Trumbull Residents $435 (non-residents $500) Space is limited to 50 students.

The timeless enchantment of a magical fairy tale is reborn with the Rodgers & Hammerstein hallmarks of originality, charm and elegance. Gather round, one and all, for the Prince is giving a ball! Perhaps the most famous fairytale of all, this magical story has been re-imagined and set to music by two great masters of the musical. This enthralling fairy tale warms the hearts of children and adults alike.

 

Rehearsals begin July 8, 2024, Mon. - Fri.,  from 1PM - 5PM, at the Trumbull High School Auditorium, 72 Strobel Rd.,

Trumbull, CT 06611. Location subject to change. Additional rehearsals may be added for dress rehearsals.
