“Bring On The Monsters!” 

TYA is open to Students 13 – 21. (If you are 13, you must be entering the 9th grade in the Fall of 2025)

 

VOCAL AUDITIONS - May 28th from 5:30 - 9 PM -  AND -  June 1st from 3 - 7 pm

DANCE AUDITIONS - June 4th from 5:30 PM - 9PM

CALLBACKS - Friday, June 6th  6 - 9 PM

LOCATION: Trumbull Senior Citizens Center - 23 Priscilla Place, Trumbull, CT 06611

*Park in the back of the building and follow the signs

Please contact us if you would like to participate but have schedule conflicts. 

 

Please sign up for a vocal audition time slot AND a dance audition time slot. Everyone who auditions will be cast in the show. Not all those who audition will be needed for callbacks.

MANDATORY CAST & CREW MEETING & SCRIPT READ THROUGH - Monday, June 16th at the 

THS Auditorium 6-9 PM 

 

Rehearsals are MON- FRI 6PM - 10PM beginning June 17th at the THS AUDITORIUM, 

72 Strobel Rd. in Trumbull. Some Saturdays & Sundays rehearsals may be required.  A weekly schedule will be sent out to the cast and crew.  There may be some times you will be dismissed early or will not be needed at rehearsal. 

 

CAST PARTICIPATION FEES:

     

Trumbull residents 

$250 + $100 minimum in advertising sales or donations

 

Non-Trumbull residents  

$300 + $100 minimum in advertising sales or donations

 

Siblings: 20% discount:  Resident Sibling fee- $200  /  Non-resident sibling fee - $240

 

CREW PARTICIPATION FEE:  $50  

 

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT:

Please register online before the 1st rehearsal at: https://trumbullct.myrec.com.  We will email you a link after the auditions are complete.  If you prefer to pay by cash or check, you can bring your form and payment to the rehearsal by June 17th.

STRIKE DEPOSIT  

Please bring $25 in cash or a check in an envelope with your name on it to the first rehearsal.  Checks should be made out to “Trumbull Youth.” This fee will be held and returned to you when you attend “strike.”  Strike day is mandatory! All hands on deck! 

 

ADVERTISING SALES & DONATIONS

Advertising sales and donations are mandatory - $100 in ads and/or donations for cast members (Siblings $50ea.) Forms will be available at rehearsals and on the TYA website. If you are not able to sell ads or collect donations, you must make a personal $100 donation to TYA.  Donations are Tax deductible.  Advertising fees and donations will be collected at rehearsals and are due by July 8th. Checks should be made out to “Trumbull Youth”.

 

CAST ATTENDANCE:

Rehearsal time is very short and attendance is very important. ALL CONFLICT DATES must be listed on your audition and registration forms. Absences should be limited to 2 missed rehearsals.  Any additional absences should be approved by the director and producers. No absenses after July 23rd. Please contact us to discuss your conflict issues and we will try to work something out so that you can participate. 

  

CAST BIOS: Please submit a bio not more than 120 words MAXIMUM. Less is more! 

Due by JULY 3rd if you want it to appear in the program booklet.
